Dock Execution Software
Outbound Dock Execution Software
Loadly is outbound dock execution software that turns a load plan into a completed, documented, scale-ready trailer. It guides loaders row by row, adjusts pallets live, captures proof, and follows the load through scale and delivery — all from one dashboard.

What is dock execution software?
Dock execution software manages the outbound handoff between the warehouse and the road. Order management, inventory, and picking live in the WMS. But once the freight is staged, someone still has to decide how to load the trailer, load it correctly, prove it was done right, and confirm it is safe to dispatch. That is dock execution — and it is where rework, detention, overweight fines, and freight claims are won or lost.
Loadly gives the dock a single system for that work: an axle-balanced plan, a loader-facing iPad workflow, live adjustments, proof-of-load records, scale-ticket reconciliation, and a management dashboard.
Guided loading, row by row
The loader works from an iPad at the trailer. Loadly shows the trailer floor map and the exact sequence — which pallet loads next and where it sits — so the load is built the way it was planned. As the loader moves nose to doors, they capture a photo of each row, and every image is tied to the final trailer plan.
When the dock needs to override the plan for a real-world reason — a fragile pallet against the doors, a single-layer pallet that needs a safer position — operators adjust the trailer map in real time, and Loadly recalculates steer, drive, tandem, gross, and utilization with every move.
- Row-by-row loading sequence on the iPad
- Live pallet adjustments with instant re-balancing
- Proof-of-load photos captured by row
- Multi-stop sequencing so first-stop freight loads near the doors
- Trailer and load status tracked end to end
Execution that does not stop at the dock door
A trailer that leaves the dock is not finished until it is scaled and delivered. Drivers use the Loadly companion app to open a load by its Load ID, review the approved plan, photograph the trailer and equipment, upload scale-ticket photos, and complete required rework loops when a load scales overweight.
Everything the driver does flows back to the dashboard, so supervisors see the full outbound picture: which loads are planned, loading, scaled, reworked, delivered, or disputed.
One dashboard for dock performance
Loadly is more than an iPad tool — it is a dock execution management system. Supervisors review saved loads, rework flags, axle analysis, trailer utilization, proof photos, scale-ticket history, driver activity, and site performance in one place, and export a Loadly Proof Packet whenever a claim or audit requires it.
Frequently asked questions
A WMS manages orders, inventory, and picking. Dock execution covers what happens after freight is staged: planning the trailer, loading it correctly, documenting it, scaling it, and proving what happened. Loadly is the execution layer and does not replace the WMS.
Loadly guides the loader row by row on the iPad, so the workflow is straightforward. Implementation includes dock workflow setup and training before the first live load.
Yes. Operators can adjust the trailer map in real time for real-world placement needs, and Loadly recalculates the axle weights and utilization with every move. Every adjustment stays tied to the saved load record.
Drivers use the companion app to record scale results, complete rework loops, and capture proof of delivery. It all flows back to the dashboard and the load's Proof Packet.
